All of the churches in the parish have achieved Fairtrade status and are committed to supporting fair trade.
Traidcraft is an organisation that works in developing countries to try and build a better future for those who live there. They help small businesses to develop and they provide communities with facilities, such as clean water, in places where this is considered a luxury rather than the norm. More information about the organisation can be found on their website.
At St Augustine's Church there is a Traidcraft stall after the service on the first Sunday of each month.
Castle St Methodist Church runs a Traidcraft stall after its all-age worship and holds special events during Fairtrade Fortnight in March.
