An exploratory concert given by Amanda Dean (mezzo soprano) and the St. Augustine’s Singers conducted by Philip Mead. Stunning visual images by leading artists will be accompanied by improvised vocal sounds. Berio’s extraordinary vocal Sequenza 111 will be performed by Amanda, and an evocation of the vocal sounds of cavemen and women will receive its premiere.
